What’s the name of this movie…(might be from the 70′s)?
I don’t remember many details. It might have starred Paul Newman but I’m not sure.
There’s a scene in it where a huge tree log rolls onto a guy, pinning him in the water. At first his head is above water. His friend, (who I’m thinking Newman plays the part of), tries to move the log but can’t. The water eventually rises to cover the man’s face so his friend tries desperately to breath into the pinned guy’s mouth. It was a troubling scene to watch. You can feel the dying man’s fear.
That’s about all I remember 
Except I know it wasn’t a western type but did include a lot of outdoors scenery.
